I had a very long conversation with my CD Doctor about the advavtages and disadvantages of tune ups and the drugs required for MAC. He talked about unintended damages from larges doses of antibiotics. Therefore, not to be used as on a risk benefit basis.

I wish I could be more specific. Have a chat with your CF Doctor.
