Hi.
Interesting article. Tara, pulmonary artery hypertension is not related to high blood pressure. It has to do with the arteries that carry blood to the lungs. You can have normal blood pressure and still have pulmonary artery hypertension. Those arteries can only be evaluated by echocardiogram.
Hope I explain this fine in english.

Hmmm, interesting...and I just ordered a couple of months of fizzy Nac to try- yea...Hopefully, it is only the mice with the side effects <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> !

Good info about the hypertension- I didn't know that. My blood pressures run the same as yours, tara- I get the strange looks and the "Does your blood pressure always run like this?" too <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> .

everything in moderation. I do not believe in taking high doses of anything. I do feel that the recommendation of GSH is very high for CF patients. I am not aware of how much NAC a person with cf takes.

You never know what will be. Therapy clearance, exercise and eating well will keep you all healthier.
