<br />I just wanted to second what Treble posted. My DDs FESS surgery was at at CHOP in Phillie which is attached to Penn in Phillie and she had no packing. I was also told that it was a more advanced procedure used. She had her 2 week follow-up today and she has no bleeding and little suctioning while she was awake took care of the rest. I am sure that there are different types of procedures done based on the actual sinus findings, but I would ask why packing needs to be done at all. My DDs recovery has gone very well.
