nebulized albuterol and atrovent

just wondering if you use the whole albuterol and atrovent ampules when you nebulize them together? has this combo proved helpful?

DS has been nebbing Albuterol (in the brown bottle) and the atrovent ampules together since he was an infant. I believe atrovent is a longer acting bronchiodialator while albuterol is faster acting.
