nebulized pulmicort?

I am just wondering if anyone has ever used nebulized pulmicort? My doctors just put me on this to replace Advair and I wondered if anyone had had good results?

Ry used it, and he liked it a lot more than the advair, seemed to actually work. My little brother (severe asthma) uses pulmicort too, and loves it. I hope you have good luck with it!

Hey Monkey.....I use Pulmicort Neb. I think it works great for me. I use to also use Advair which I didnt find as effective. I dont know if I couldnt get it as deep into my lungs or the med itself just wasnt for me. Either way I never felt any difference!

I have used nebulized pulmicort. I still use it when sick, when not having many problems I use the pulmicort turbohaler. Both work great for me, better than flovent/advair ever did

Reilly has used nebulized Pulmicort since February, or so. We actually used it with Albuterol before we found out about her CF, and have continued to stay on it since. You can go on their website to get more info, and they may even give you some freebies.

My 7-1/2 yr old ds used it for 1-1/2 yrs and my 6 yr old used it for 3 years. They're both on advair now though, which works fine for us and is much quicker.

Hey-
I use neb pulmicort too. I think it works great, better than advair.
Just watch out- I just got back from the dentist, and I have alot of increased tooth decay due to the pulmicort. I have to have alot of work done now to repair it. So, always wash your mouth out after you do it!!!!! Even brush if possible. If I had been told about this side effect, I would have known to care for my teeth extra. As long as you do this, you should be fine.

I was wondering the same thing..I am currently on Flovent 220 mcg 2 puffs twice a day via my adapter in my vent, but have wondered if the nebulized Pulmicort would do a better job as far as maintanance for me. I forgot to say that I use the Pulmicort neb twice daily along with Albeuterol! Still feel it gets a chance to get deep down & penetrate!
