Nebulizer Compressor Questions

Giggles

New member
I currently use one called MIster Neb along with the Pari cups . I think I might need a new one and was thinking of getting the Pari Pro Neb Ultra. Does anyone know anything about it and where to get one??? Can eflow be used with TOBI, Pulmozyme and Albuterol???? And if YES, where do you get an Eflow????

Need help on where to get a new compressor and at the best cost. I have gone online and see a ton of companies that sell the Pro Neb Ultra but was wondering if there is a better more cost effective place to get it at. I live in the burbs of chicago, IL.

I was also told when I got my Mister Neb that is was equal to the Pro Neb. But I see the place where the motor is is getting gunky and I have changed the filter for a couple years. It still works just fine but it looks gunky???

Please advise. Thanks!

If you can go online and get a Pari Proneb Ultra, as opposed to an Ultra II (and I assume that you are paying out of pocket, not insurance) because my Ultra lasted a couple of years, as opposed to my Ultra II which may have lasted a couple of months (Pari sent out a replacement pronto though <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> ). From what I've seen people saying around here, most of the compressors are good for only a couple of years, it seems.

Did you mean that you haven't changed the filter for a couple of years, or that you have changed the filter, but that the motor is still "gunky" looking? You really need to do that, if you haven't. I found the filters for my Pari online, you could check there for your brand too.

For the eFlow, you can check out Sakasuka's blog, and she has a lot of good info there. You order one by going to the Source CF home page, and find your area's pharmacy on the map.

Good luck!
