I send one of the girls a text message and she answered right back <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Dr. Hendricks is still there. She said he is head of the children's clinic.

You must be able to speak to him by trying to general phone number from the hospital that i posted in my previous post and ask to speak to Dr. Hendricks, head of the childrens clinic.

Hope you can get all the info you need now! Good luck, trying to find the other doctors.

If not, just ask again <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Thank you guys so much! I spent yesterday morning going through Anna's medical records. She was born in 87, I got up to 92 before I got tired and took a break.

It's so great to hear that Dr. Hendricks is still there. Anna and I went to do a little bit of shopping last night and we were talking about the hospital in Maastricht. They were so wonderful and understanding. She was in the hospital during Thanksgiving (an American holiday if you didn't know it) and Dr. Hendricks, without us asking, said that we could take her home for a few hours to have a holiday supper as long as we got her back in time for her next antibiotics. We did. We realize that we truelly mean it when we say we ate our way through Europe in the three and a half years we were there. Down to Anna's stays at Maastricht. If only American hospitals could model after them. From the food in the cafeteria, kip schnitzel was her favorite with the amazing sauce they put on it with fritz of course, to the giant tricycle to ride around on, the beauty shop for getting her hair cut and even Carlo her physio therapist. One day for exercise one day for fun he would tell her. One thing's for sure having to recall all the doctors we've seen has brought back some memories of the places we've been and the people we've met. What a way to remember things. Now that I have the address I will have to be sure to write Dr.Hendricks a letter and fill him in on the American Patients he once had.

Marjolein, if you could ask your friends that go to Maastricht to say hello for us if they see Dr. Hendricks. Ask them to say hello from his American patients Anna and Rachel DeVane from the NATO base.

Thank you again!
