Need to take enzymes with antibiotics?

Does my son need to take enzymes when he takes his antibiotics, motrin, tylenol, or mucinex?

No, not at all! Enzymes are only needed when fats, proteins and starches are digested.

One of the times you can get away (or not dish them out) without taking those darn things!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

you do however need to be careful about drug interactions with your antibiotics. even interactions with vitamins.

read the package insert (get from the pharmacist or at the product website) to educate yourself on drug/vitamin interactions. just cuz doc hasn't told you about them doesn't mean they don't exist.
