Thanks everyone. I'll drink a lot more water today and see what kind of pain happens throughout the day. Why does this happen why my dr. is out of town? and I don't have a family dr. I've only seen a cf dr. my whole life. Thanks for your encouragement everyone.

Geeeeezzz Roshelle, the last thing you needed was more worries. I dont have much to add but i do sometimes get the same pains you have mentioned and each blood test says my kidneys are fine ( thank God) so who knows maybe it really is a muscle issue. Either way, definitely keep drinking extra, even if there is nothing wrong with your kidneys, its still good to keep them well flushed thru. I wante to add i also get nervous when i start running fevers and have to take tylenol every 4-5 hours. My doctor told me it isnt a bad thing as long as you dont take high doses like that for VERY long periods of time .
I hope you get to feeling better **huggs**

So then here's another question, you guys are mentioning high doses and long periods of time. What makes it a high dose and a long time? I take the regular dose, two tylenol, and as far as taking them you could say it's been about 6 months, throughout that time I think I was able to stop a couple days at a time, maybe a week or two but nothing more.

Drink mass quantities of cranbery juice. The acids in it flush out your kidnies. If you just can't stand cranberry juice then take cranberry suppliments. If the pain continues get to the ER. You could also see if there is something else that you can take for fever that isn't too hard on the kidnies. My husband (who only has one kidney now) can take Aleve.
