Nemours Children's Clinic

Hey Everyone,

I just moved about 30 minutes from Pensacola and am wondering if anyone has a recomendation for a CF Clinic and or doc.

I looked on cff.org and saw the nemours children's clinic is the closest to me, but I would be willing to drive further if a better clinic were in range.

Any info would be great, thanks!

i used to go there years ago when i was in peds, but since have moved away. they only have a peds clinic there. i think i still have a phone number for the adult clinic they were trying to get started in jacksonville. if you would like me to find that number i will. it is not accredited, but the doc who runs it (last i heard) was a doc from ny, who had been working with cf for i think 25 years.

The dr.in Jacksonville is Dr. Malanga and he is or just has moved back to NY, one of the other doctors in the practice is taking Malanga's spot. Ronnie who is the CF nurse coordinator is still with the clinic. She knows a lot about CF as she lost 2 brothers to it.
They are very proactive on things I was just diagnosed last year, and every time my numbers drop the least little bit the put me on IVs so I can keep my numbers (90-111%).
Most all of their patients do IVs 3-4 times a year. PM me if you want the number and I will send it to you.
