New Compressor

So I went today and got a new compressor...I thought it was to replace my 5 year old Respironics Inspiration Elite-but the Rx my doctor wrote was for a travel nebulizer...the Pari Trek S...here is a link to a pdf brochure for it: http://www.pari.com/pdd/pdfs/TREK_S_BROCHURE.pdf

They told me to only use this when I travel-which is fine. I think my Respironics one is fine....but this new one will be so handy when I travel! Its so teeny to pack in my suitcase (I probably won't do it out of the car-it does have a car adaptor but I would be worried about the PSI's.

These are the meds I am on: Pulmozyme, Tobi, and Hypertonic Saline. What neb cup should I use for these meds? Right now I am using the sidestream for the Pulmozyme-but I am thinking I should use the Pari cups that I use for Tobi and HS on the Pulmozyme too.

Any thoughts??

Years ago I contacted Pari about using the Trek with Tobi and they said absolutely NOT. Something about the particle size and making the medication ineffective. I would think ditto for pulmozyme as well.

Really? Good to know. Grrr-am wondering why my doctor wrote me a prescription for it then?? You are talking about the Pari Trek compressor, right? It is 35 psi.....so I am wondering why I can't use it?

Well-I just called Pari and they told me to use the Devilbiss Pulmoaide with Tobi But- I don't have that nebulizer...I am assuming the Respironics Inspiration Elite will be ok with that one. Argh. I think I am just going to bring down the brochures for what I have-and find out from the doctors what I should use for what! So confusing!
