My name is Debby and I have a sister, Terri, with CF. She had a twin that went through a double lung transplant that lasted 2 and a half years. But she said that it was the first time she could breathe and have the energy to do anything she wanted. The last 6 months or so she went thru rejection and that was not so good. My family all miss her so very much. We had a younger sister that also passed away from CF in the 50's. So I have had 3 sister with this dreaded disease and wish so very much for a cure. I am a nurse and try to stay up on all the latest info. Hopefully this site will help with that also. Terri is moving here to Knoxville in a few weeks from Atlanta, so I am tryng to find a doctor in this area if anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it. She just turned 40--yeah--but seems to find it getting harder and harder to stay healthy. I can't wait to get her onto this forum. Thanks again for all you guys are doing.

Hello everybody!
My name is Travis and I'm a 26 year old CFer in Charlotte, NC.
I'm originally from Ohio, and was dxed at Toledo Hospital when I was 6.
One of my brothers (Gabe, 24) also has CF.
I currently go to UNC-Chapel Hill for care, quite a drive, but worth it.
I'm currently going to school full time, working full time, and doing an internship. I should be graduating in December. WooHoo. My degree will be in Health Communication.
I have a dark sense of humor, and a foul mouth, but I'll do my best to keep it tasteful.
I'm a self-professed jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none.
Looking forward to this
