I hope to not make this a long winded post but I have some important questions to ask of my fellow CF'ers!
So basically I met the most amazing man on the face of the planet and things have moved pretty quickly. I've found myself staying over his apartment several times already, but bottom line, it's FILTHY!!
So of course I'm concerned with all the dust, mold, and god knows what else I'm breathing in. He knows about my CF but I don't think he understands just how serious it is. A mutual friend and I plan on kicking him out for the afternoon and cleaning the place from top to bottom. That being said, I want him to understand why it's so important for his place to be semi-clean without being too naggy. Any advice on how to approach this?
One more quick one...but I must ask. How does everyone deal with the ever present super-stinky, sometimes-noisy double-flush, sit on-toilet-for-more-than-20-minutes poop issue? Do I just go heavy on the air freshener, hope the toilet doesn't clog, and not say anything? Any advice to me on how to get more comfortable with this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks everyone!
