Hi Debby! I was born in Knoxville and I currently live in Crossville, TN, about an hour west of you!

I make the long drive to Nashville every three months to visit the CF clinic at Vanderbilt Medical Center (I say "Long drive", it's only an hour and a half to two hours, maybe three hours from you).
I think went somewhere in Knoxville when I was very very little, but I don't remember where, but I believe we weren't very pleased or they closed or something and that's when we started driving to Nashville.
The CF care at Vanderbilt is unsurpassed by any care I've seen. I've NEVER had problems with the CF doctors there and am healthy as an ox (CF wise).

The children's CF clinic doctor is Christopher Harris who is a fantastic doctor who is very kind and helpful, but will be straight forward with you.

The adult CF clinic doctor is Bonnie Slovis is will always tell you like it is and has fantastic knowledge.

I became friends with the nurses in the childrens CF clinic while I was there, and am now becoming friends with the Adult clinic staff, and I've been SHOCKED over the years at how far they will go out of their way to help with anything I need, quickly and efficiently.

Check into clinics around Knoxville, I don't know much about them or if there even are any, but I know that the Nashville clinic care is superb.
If you want to know anything more or have any other questions PLEASE feel free to PM me, I can get contact info and would love to help in any way I can.

Many blessings!
