Go to Central Park and Bryant Park. And you should stop by Ground Zero because of it's emotional impact. And you can't go to NY without trying to make it to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. I would honestly skip the top of the Empire State Building since it's really expensive. I would hoof it up the Statue of Liberty instead. Try to visit some nice rooftop bars. And if you can make the MOMA I would do that too. And you should see the Brooklyn Bridge too.

You will be there for the Halloween parade. I have been in the hospital for that & being the floor looks out into Greenich Village....sometimes it was hard to tell the costumes from regular attire LOL!
