Hey everyone..

I have to ask something. I was told and shown how to put in an NG-tube by the nurse and now I put in my NG-tube at home on my own. Do any of you people that use NG's put them on your own at home once you have been told how to do it??

Is this the same thing as the feeding tube? My grandaughter is going next week for one. She is almost 7. How are you doing with yours?

I'm 11 and I don't have CF, but i do have an unknown swallowing problem that causes me to wear an NG feeding tube at times. So far I've had 8(almost 9, I'm too scared to put it in) tubes in less than 14 months.A nurse at Comer in Chicago and since then i have put 6 tubes in. I was wandering if there was someone i could talk to about it.
