Well, I rarely talk about my Angel, Michael, but I couldn't help it today.

Today, he finished his last finaly at USC and he is now a COLLEGE GRAD. Not one degree, with TWO bachelor degress.

And this would be a great accomplishment for anybody, but he just learned english 6 years ago. College is hard enough - but doing it in a 2nd language is just extraordinary! I am so so so very proud of him...

His next step is to hopefully find a company that will sponsor him with a work Visa.

Yes, ladies and gentleman, he is going to stay and get work in this country as a LEGAL immigrant. Not to be confused for the 13 million illegal immigrants.

And this is why I feel so passionate about the illegal immigrant issue - my Angel has played by the rules for the past 5 years and has been here legally. Why should someone who broke the law and entered this country legally be able to get to get a path to citizenship quicker than he?

Congrats to him Amy!!! Glad to hear that inspite of the language barrier (my grandfather came from Puerto Rico, had to learn english, I hear from family how hard it was) he was able to complete college. And two degrees, Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My brother graduates on friday too... very exciting =) Tell him I said hi, i havent really seen him to much this year but it was always cool to see him and talk to him when I met him last year =)

Congrats to Michael...and thank you for immigrating legally! I live in CA too, so I completely understand how frustrating the entire topic is. I hope he is able to find a sponser for his work visa soon.
