Day 20. On our way down to WMC soon. Nicole Pisani Frame's Tracheostomy is scheduled for this am. Hopefully this will help her breath better and we'll finally get that awful vent tube out of her mouth. Thank you again to everyone who is praying and messaging me and all the wonderful things people continue to do during this difficult time. Keep Nicole in your thoughts and prayers this am. ? Tina Pisani

Nicole Pisani Frame is out of surgery. The tracheostomy went fine. We are all so happy to be able to see her beautiful face without that stupid tube! Shes still exhausted and groggy because of the anesthesia, dialysis etc. Hopefully we will get to see her open her eyes and smile soon. Keep praying, we need to now wean her off the vent. ? Tina Pisani

thank you for your update.  Just wondered as I have the blood problems sometimes did she have an embolization the first time she went in and also when they said they gave her drugs when it started again what were the drugs - sorry to ask such specific questions but as I have problems like this it would be of interest to me - also of course I am glad she seems to be progressing - with best wishes.  xxx<br>

i'm unsure if they tried an embolization. and i'm unsure of the drugs they tried to give her to try and stop the bleeding. i know the first time she started bleeding they gave her drugs and it did stop the bleeding. but the second time the drugs did not work and that's when they took part of the lung. in her past she has had some problems with bleeding, but to my knowledge nothing this severe.
