Do you also have any of these symptoms?

Chronic muscle pain, muscle spasms or tightness, and leg cramps.
Moderate or severe fatigue and decreased energy.
Insomnia or waking up feeling just as tired as when you went to sleep.
Stiffness upon waking or after staying in one position for too long.
Difficulty remembering, concentrating, and performing simple mental tasks.
Abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, and constipation alternating with diarrhea (irritable bowel syndrome).
Tension or migraine headaches.
Jaw and facial tenderness.
Sensitivity to one or more of the following: odors, noise, bright lights, medications, certain foods and cold.
Feeling anxious or depressed.
Numbness or tingling in the face, arms, hands, legs or feet.
Increase in urinary urgency or frequency (irritable bladder).
Reduced tolerance for exercise and muscle pain after exercise.
A feeling of swelling (without actual swelling) in the hands and feet.
Painful menstrual periods.
Dizziness.

These are symptoms of fybromyalsia. I have most of these symptoms and am in the process of being evaluated to see if I have it. I never thought my symptoms could be related until I met someone with fibrymyalsia.

good that you're being proactive. if your clinic isn't taking your care seriously, find another clinic. as you'll see on this site many people have higher than 70% FEV1 well above your age. great they think you're healthy and all but your problems are real and they should be shooting to get your FEV1 higher as every cf doctor should be doing for their patients. are you at an accredited cf center? check out cff.org and find out how your clinic compares. make a list of questions for your next appt. it's time they take you serious or you should be out the door.
