funny I was thinking about this about two weeks ago. I was thinking it owuld be nice to contact a service like ample pantry and have meals delivered etc.
Not sure how I can be of service myself but more than willing in any way I can.
I have a few ideas but there are groups out there like this for other diseases so why recreat the wheel we can get tons good ideas I am sure and adapt them. There is a group like this of women cancer survivors and they have a really funny name, I read a magazine article baout it but cant for the life of me rememebr it.
One example I have is we could have a registry of helpers and if someone is in that area we coudl hel pthem. For instance say my mom registered to be a helper, if there was someone in bad shape around our area we would be the contact to see what services are around, have my mom get names places might be helpful, have her make some food and take if it was really close or go clean their house, buy groceries. Whatever!
