Not feeling much better after 3 weeks of home IV's

Kelli,

Do you have allergies? Just curious cause recently when I was on IVs at home I stayed on 3 weeks (I've never been on them longer than 2 weeks!) and still didn't feel "perfect" when I got off them. Now, docs are starting to think if a lot of my symptoms are in fact allergy/asthma related and less due to CF stuff.

Just something to maybe mention to your doc. I know you're on prednisone, but not sure if that's for allergies? Maybe ask them to give you singulaire or something too and see if that makes you feel better?

Yes I do have allergies, tons of them. Everything from abx, environmental (indoor & outdoor), and foods. So I pretty much get it any which way. And I do have pretty bad asthma (I can't really tell the difference between that and CF).
So I'm just hoping that I didn't do all of these IV's for nothing. I want my #'s to be up.
We'll see what they say.

My last iv round was 8 weeks, but i had pneumonia and pleurisy. My Dr. was surprised that i recovered as quickly as i did. Usually i stay on iv's about 3 - 4 weeks.
