You are a wise patient<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I think we all know when we need IV's. I am on Zosyn, Levoquin, and inhaled Tobi now. I don't mind the Zosyn at all other than the every 6 hours. It packed some punch for me and I hope it does the same for you. You rock, let's both race towards that 50% or better!! I don't blame you for not wanting Tobra. I too have some mild loss and my doctors are protective of my ears. I think we all appreciate that.

I'm glad you have the energy to take care of this now before it gets too crazy. I know for me at least, there are times when I talk myself into thinking I"m doing better than I really am. I'm learning to listen to that voice in my head the first time it ever suggests IVs. It saves a lot of grief in the long run. I hope that this round of therapy for you will be quick and uneventful, and that your energy level won't plummet. Take care of yourself!

Ahh...those days of walking through junk yards in the middle of winter, or early spring, searching for some goodies..almost like an automotive "trick-or-treat"!
I think I can relate to that kind of conversation, cause on my first time being put on iv's in the hospital, I was playing football with the neighboorhood kids the day before!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

I also hope those different iv combos keeps your hearing loss to a minimum and kicks some B. Cepacia A$$!! Feel better, soon!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
