We are going to Children's Mercy Hospital and it is accredited through CFF. I know nothing of the fathers background and I was wondering how possible it would be for Aiden to have it if it's not in either of our background?

95% of all CFers on this board have no background.

There are only 30,000 CFers in the United States - out of 300million that live in this country. It's an extremely rare disease.

What Amy said. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> My mom is one of 6, my dad has a sister, and I have about 13 cousins (several of which have kids of their own now). I am still the first and only one with CF in the whole family.

Hi Rikki, Sounds like you got alot for good advice... It does sound like he may have some allergy issues, my doc wants me to me on allergy meds. from april-june... I hope and pray that all will go well... Joni (p.s. nice chatting w/ you)55 y/o f w c/f

yeah we thought they were allergies but he got test for all the allergies he could at his age and they were all negative. And we gave tried Zyrtec, allegra, and now cingulair and none are working......
