go for it!!

your opinions and experiences most likely will change when you get older. You can always write "part II" when you get older and it will be interesting to look back at your perspective now.

I recently read a wonderful book by Ana and Isa Stenzel called "The Power of Two: a twin triumph over cystic fibrosis"

It is about their life as twins growing up with CF and it is just an amazing story and an amazing book. I think it really helped them to write it and I know they continue to blog about their experiences.

I'd love to read any drafts you have!

If it's a dream you have....then do it! No one can stop you from doing what you want<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

Yes, writing is definitely the truest form of expression. I find taking a walk outdoors really gets my creative juices flowing. I see something, and ask myself how would I describe it if I were talking to a blind person? I think that is an excellent tactic to utilize. Anyway, last year I wrote a sci-fi book, and I am currently penning a book about my history enduring CF, and how I maintained excellent health.

If writing is something you are seriously considering, I say go for it. There are a few CF books out already, but I am not gonna let that bother me, as true originality lies in how one tells the story.

I'm not sure it matters what you do with your life: someone, somewhere will find it offensive. If that is a reason to quit, then you won't ever do anything.

Aside from that issue, how you word things can make a big difference in whether something is offensive to a lot of people or just a few. A good editor or lots of practice trying to communicate via the written word (for example, on a forum like this one) can make a big difference in that area.

Good luck.
