Good for you, Jane! You beat me to it--I had just heard this on FOX today, and was going to look it up! I thought the same thing--"oh no". Thanks for noticing, and passing it along! I think it is in regards to prolonged inhaling...

yeah, I did hear about it - a chemical in the microwave popcorn has been reported of causing lung damage. They knew some workers in the factories had been having problems, but now it's a consumer ! YIKES

so I've heard about this too, but after reading the article I'm a bit irritated. I mean hello?? it's okay for their workers to get "popcorn lung" as they call it, but it's only when a consumer gets sick that any action is taken. This pisses me off to no end. The minute ANYbody got sick from that crap, something should have been done. I hate ConAgra. You all should read Fast Food Nation.

Okay, that's my vent for the week. I am glad something's finally being done. I just think it should have been done sooner. And I think it's so sad how little empathy these huge companies have for their own employees. Maybe I should blog, LOL
