OH NO! They are closing my CF clinic!

As of April 1, 2006, there won't be a CF doctor at the adult CF clinic associated with Drexel University. I know there are a few other people on this site who go there, so in case you hadn't already heard, I thought I'd spread the word. Dr. Sexauer is starting an adult clinic at Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ. I am not sure where I am gonna go. I will probably go to Robert Wood, but I'm not sure.

Wow!!! I left Dr. William Sexauer last August. I thought the CF Clinic went to h*** when they left MCP Hospital. I stayed for a while, but I got tired of the drug pushing. I left right after Heidi Decker left. Everyone was new except for Judy Hillman, and you never saw her anymore. Their new girl, Jean, made me very uncomfortable. WOW!!! I left right in time!!!

Dr. Sexauer called me yesterday and told me he was leaving and i was not thrilled to hear that. Since he is going to Jersey i dont think my insurance will pay for me to go to Jersey. I HATE the thought of starting with someone new especially with my ongoing hemoptysis problems. I keep hearing University of Pa. is great, but like i said it scares me to go to someone who has no idea of any of my history of problems with my cepacia, and bleeding. UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Go to school there.
See my docs at UPenn though.
It's ranked like #1 in everything.

Diane, I've had a few new doctors since all my hemoptysis problems, you know your body best, tell them what the other doctors have done, and most importantly tell them what you think works for your body! And maybe new ideas will help too.
