I see the gas and poop talk all over the place and honestly, well, I am totally used to talking about gas, poop and any other type of body function you could imagine... I have 10 and 11 yr old boys after all.
Just still not used to the idea of posting a thread to ask about my daughter's farting, is all. I have gotten the vague impression (haha) that gas is well, the norm, with the kids... and she is no exception there. But what I am wondering is, shouldn't I see less if her enzymes are working the way they should? Or is poop really the main indicator? Her poop is definitely not slimy all the time like it used to be- maybe only one out of every 3 or 4 times that I check it- but the gas, yikes. I am still trying to get the hang of this.
Last week we had pizza while her brother was at gymnastics and we forgot her enzymes; oh goodness. We had no option of going home; it was time for his class and then about 45 minutes after she ate it was like she became fermented and she just started burping, the long, loud kind that would do her brothers proud any day; in a room of parents (it was watch night!) she's letting it rip over and over... SO embarrassing!! Is THAT kind of thing normal for any of your kids? (And yeah, lots out the other end the next morning. Pizza notoriously is an issue w/ poop; I am considering asking about an extra enzyme for foods like pizza and sausage.)
