So since Friday I have had this terrible chest pain that radiates from where my port is all the way to my back and shoulder.

Since this pain has started, I also hear every time I breathe and cough a popping sound.

My doctor has ruled out pleurisy, infected port, misplaced port, port infiltration, collapsed lung, broken rib, and many other things. She thinks it may be a fracture somewhere that they havent been able to find?

When I went to see her she said it sounded like an artifical heart valve (the popping noise).

Has ANY one ever had something like this? I am scared and worried as to what is going on.

Any type of information would be greatly appreciated.

Yea i would only rule out pnuemothorax and lung collaspe with an xray... I had no pain, but popping and bubbling sounds when breathing that were eratic.

Otherwise not sure, i would be getting heart tests or something too... I dont know. Hopefullynsomeone has similar experience!
