Ongoing stomach issues

Hi, I'm 36, diagnosed at 7 mos w/cf and got CFRD at age 13. My stomach has never been completely flat, but lately it always looks like I'm 6 months pregnant. I've had a small bowel blockage test, another test where you drink barium and they showed everything normal. Even after getting 2 GoLightly jugs and on a liquid diet for 3 days, my stomach is still huge. It's not hard but I do have some pain and constant gurgling sounds. I've been hospitalized 2 times for it but they never find anything. They have also increased my Protonix to 2/day and gave me a round of the pills that eat the bacteria out of your intestines. I'm 5'2" and at 100lbs do it's not from being overweight- all my ribs are showing through my back. I'm very frustrated. Has anyone else found a solution for this?

A belly xray would show a build up of stool on your colon. The following assumes that they did not do that. Mucus is like a glue and attaches itself to the walls of the colon. Stool will then attach/mix with the stool and continue the build up. Because it attaches to the walls you will still have normal movements.

No joke, I lost about 4 inches on my gut and about 13 pounds. Miralax every day as directed until you have diarrhea.

I had an X-ray and a build up in my colon but they gave me GoLightly and bariatric enemas to clear me out. I've been on miralax for a few years and just increased (by doctor recommendation) to 5 times a day. I have a colonoscopy scheduled on a few weeks-maybe they'll find something then??
