I breast fed my daughter for like 4 months and she didn't have thing come of it ..... mind you there were med that I had stopped when I got pregnant and while i breastfed ..... I stopped cause it was draining me of everything I had.

She got the most important part of the nutritional value and is still growning happy and perfectly Healthy. Hope my thoughts have helped.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Do you remember what medication you stopped? I am only on Albuterol and Pulmozyne.

Thanks,

M-

You can double check any meds at Answers.com
it gives details about pretty anything you can type.

as far as I read neither of those should interfer with
your plan of breastfeeding.

Also if you have been on them during pregnancy
chances are slim that anything would differ with
breastfeeding.

If you need reassurance ask you doctor.....

Hope I've helped.

My son was breastfed and I took my enzymes as well as albuterol and I think advair, but I don't remember for sure on that. I am pregnant now and taking the same three things I mentioned above - my doc says all are OK, so I would assume they would be fine for breastfeeding too.

Hi,

I breast fed my daughter for 13 months. I didn't know i could do it so long. I took several medications during it. I checked it all by my docter and gyn. They said that it was ok.
So ask it your docter. And have a good time during your pregnancy and feeding your daughter or son.

GV, 31 with en daughter of 14 monts.

Here is a good site to check out side effects of meds. You may have to cut/paste. I'm not the most computer savy person in case you couldn't tell

I noticed that doxycycline is not one they suggest you use while pregnant and I believe it mentioned breastfeeding not a good idea while on it either.
