Orphan drud approval - New Biotic for P.A.

Anybody see the CFF news on Transave's orphan drug approval? Sounds like a promising antibiotic for pseudomonas a. !!

Anybody who is negative but has no specific knowledge of the drug, please dont respond. I appreciate either positive attitudes or educated opinions.

oops, i read it too fast the first time. It has "Orphan Drug Destination" status. Not "Approval". Dammit <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">. I guess we will have yet another trial to wait on.....

The good news is it works through biofilm. This has been a struggle for many CFers.

Pseudo creats a tent around itself called biofilm. Makes it difficult for antibiotics to reach the bacteria.
