Ratatosk's post sounds like you could have an inflamed tonsile...hopefully, not. Did you see a regular doc or an ENT?

It seems to me that the ENT's have the better drugs, and probably won't give you the horse pills to swallow for your sore throat!

Either way, hope you feel better REAL soon..don't want "Dan the Man" to be worried about you so soon!

It was just some random doc at the walk-in clinic. There is no way I would have gotten into an ENT on short notice. If its not any better by Friday after the abx have had a chance to get working I'm going to the ER. If I have to strangle someone and get this stupid thing removed, so be it. Having my throat cut up probably wouldn't hurt any worse than this.
