OT- cf lung transplant patient gets missing cat back- a year later

I thought the same thing. Specially with the anti-rejection meds effecting the immune system. But from what I understand is that it is a totally different strain than the human version and we cannot get infected from a cat with FIV. I dont think the virus can survive in the human body. However it can pass from cat to cat. I hope for that guys sake if it was a threat that a doctor will warn him about it.

I thought the same thing. Specially with the anti-rejection meds effecting the immune system.
