Thanks for the comments everyone!

Liza, I was going to go with my gut, until she started sleeping for three or four hours at a time, and decided she was okay with eating 4oz. I was so stunned! The first night, if I wouldn't have woken her up, she would've slept through the night! The new formula is def. thicker, and I really believe she likes it more! The only downside, is that her bm's have become VERY irregular again, and her blowouts have increased. She's also having some more tummy trouble, but I know it's all just from switching formulas. I just hope it corrects itself soon!!!

AJ, thank you for the compliment I knew that every mutation was different in every person, but I guess I just had a brain fart between them telling me, and the time I posted lol! Thank you for reminding me though!

Jessica, These are the NP's at the CF clinic that are telling me this. We had also started out breast feeding, but it wasn't very successful, and then when we received the diagnosis, I was so stressed that it just stopped altogether. So we started formula, and now we just finished enrolling in a formula study that our CF Dr. asked us to try. So she's switched formulas 3 times and stopped breast feeding all in the last month and a half. I'm sure it's just tummy trouble

If she continues having tummy trouble, you might look at switching her to a lactose free formula. We struggled for months with my daughter vomitting before we finally figured out that she was lactose intolerant. It is very common in cystic fibrosis and people who have had bowel surgeries. The symptoms vary from vomitting, diarrhea, gas, bloating, and loud gurgling sounds. Just a suggestion, I know how hard it is to watch your baby suffer and be uncomfortabe with belly issues.

I called today, to update Shannan about her, and I forgot to ask about her tests, but she didn't say anything about her X-Ray, or the culture. I feel like such an idiot for forgetting. We're having a rough time with adjusting to the new feeding requirements. She cried for 6 hours strait the other night...around 4 am too Anyways, I didn't get a chance to try the ARGO, the Dr came up with some ointment for me to try, and it cleared everything up in less then a day! I've definitely got it handy though, because they only gave me 4 small samples. I have a feeling I'll be reaching for the argo soon! lol
