Pancreatitis???

I haven't had pancreatitis in 5 years and this morning after breakfast I started having horrible indigestion in my upper stomach between my ribs (more on the left side). I also have a stabbing pain in my upper back. I am burping and a touch nauseated.

So far I haven't thrown up. The pain in about a 5-6 on the pain scale. The pain sometimes subsides when I burp.

I have been on Zenpep for a few weeks. They want me to take 2 with meals and 1 with snacks. That was causing some constipation so I went to 1 with meals and one with snacks-- constipation was eased. Now I have this....

Should i go back to 2 with meals and just do more Miralax?? I really don't like Zenpep.... I miss my Pancrecarb.

I really hate pancreatitis.

I have been dealing with a similar pain pain for abt 2 weeks now I posted on a few of the forums tryg to pick others brains. I am not very faithful to my creon as I was always PS till maybe 3yrs ago with my first attack of GERG/acid reflux as they diagnosed? So I started back with the creon beg Sept. by week 3 the pain kicked in now I did not have the pain prior to starting up sagin? I was taking 2-3 with each meal, so abt anywhere from 6-9 a day. Then as sual I diagnosed myself by thinkg I was maybe shocking my pancreas with too much, also my BM were screwed up they always are either too much or too little? so I added Milalax after my prune juice then boy did things flow but the pain is presisting, it's not every day but some days more severe than others. I finally got a appt. with the gastro doctor next week. I also added Pepacid occassionally does nothing to help?? I just hate he is probably going to put me though all those dam tests again for upper GI I just can't stand it sometimes.I hope you are feeling better soon
