Papal visit...

Has anyone else been watching about the Pope's visit? It has been broadcast live on FOX, and I must admit that I have been oversome by it (maybe I'm just tired!) It brought me to tears to see the love and joy reflected on the people's faces as they caught a glimpse of him. (I am reminded of the picture of Jeanne's mom when she saw the Pope.)

Considering that it is "open season against Christianity" (you can say anything against Christians, but not against blacks, women,gays, ect)--it is good to see the public's reaction.

I just found it a spiritually uplifting event--and I'm not even Catholic!

Hey Terri,, I am Catholic and I am proud to be.. I have been watching and enjoying every minute of it.. It is wonderful to see that The Holy Father can bring so much joy,hope and love to all..<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> joni

I live in a predominantly Buddhist Society, so the most I've seen is that "The Pope is Coming to Town" on Yahoo!
Most of the news I've seen has to do with the Dalai Lama, Tibet and conflicts with China...with the Olympics in the background, of course.
Glad to hear there is still a mortal being that can spread so much love and joy onto so many people just by his prescence! :angel;
