PARI LC star vs. PARI LC plus

Hi,

Just curious if ya'll know which of these two nebs can be used for which meds? I am receiving conflicting information (I think, unless I'm reading it wrong)... The CFF makes it sound in their handout on nebs and which to use with what, like you can use these both for all the meds I'm on. My RT said to only use PARI star for one of the meds (can't remember which and too lazy to look up in my email) and must use PARI-Plus for all the others. Does anyone know the RIGHT answer? Right now, I am using them interchangably (boiling in between EVERY med, don't worry), cause I don't have enough PARI-Plus to use every time for all my meds.

duoneb
pulmozyme
colistyn
h.s. 7%

My understanding is to use the Star for Colistyn to reduce foaming, though I hear the new Pari eFlow works even better.

Thanks for the response! Hmmm... I don't notice that when I use the Star for colistyn it foams less. Do you? I also wonder if its recommended for colistyn, can it be used for anything else?? I'm so confused.

they recommend the star for colistin? colistin foams up like crazy in my pari star. i ended up throwing it out! i use my lc plus for everything and have had no problems.
