Pari Proneb Ultra compressor

Maggie's compressor is not working as well , AGAIN. First we had the Pari Proneb, died after 6 months of use. They upgraded us to the Proneb Ultra, which we've had maybe a year? It's definately not working as well. So looks like I'll be sending it back to the company. You'ld think they'ld make a heavy duty compressor for CF'ers considering how much use it gets.

Our pari proneb ultra never worked right from day one -- didn't know it was faulty until a two years or so later when a cousin gave us a spare devilbiss pulmoaid that her daughter used for asthma -- we were amazed at how much faster tobi and regular treatments were using it. We'd thought 40-50 minutes was just part of life. Now it's 23 minutes... So I bought one to use as our regular one.

It DID poop out after a year, but was covered under warranty and they sent us a new one. So far, so good.

I recently purchased a proneb ultra II for our travel compressor since it's much more compact than the devilbiss. Haven't used it much. Hopefully it'll be okay for awhile.

I really dont think they understand the workout that these compressors get. I also thought that a lengthy neb time was "part of CF life" until it just died.

I then pulled out my "spare" which was a brand new Pulmo Aide Devilbliss & was amazed LOL!

I need to get another back up again!
