Pari Proneb Ultra II Compressor Filter Change

Ugh, DS started Tobi yesterday morning, so this afternoon, I decided to check the filters in his pari and devilbiss compressors. I couldn't remember if I changed them out in April or June, so I figured I'd better be safe than sorry.

The devilbiss one looked fine -- pristine? I used a coin, removed the filter...the Pari one looked okay, but figured since I already had it out and filters were cheap, I'd just go ahead and change it. Well the instructions on the filters are for the previous version and usually I'm the type of person who doesn't read instructions, well I did this time and I pushed the filter into the compressor instead of into the cap and WHOOPS, managed to push the darned thin loose, into the machine.

I did manage to get it back into place, but of course now I'm super paranoid. I seems to work, it's not loose. Ugh! If I take it to our medical supply company, they don't WORK with paris or devilbiss for that matter and would end up sending it in for repairs for two weeks. Sigh! Signed, Idiot Girl.

The Pari Proneb Ultra II Compressor filter is to the left of the air outler.

use a coin to open it up, remove the old filter replace with new filter with the
hole in the center of filter going into the compressor replace cap,

you should get 500 hours of use from the Pari filter.

I also have the big flat open front devilbiss ( 15 years of
duty) it has the solid filter,I change it 2 times a year also.

Yep, that's what I SHOULD'VE done, I'd done it before. Just had a major blonde moment. Thank goodness it worked fine last night.

We also have devilbiss that must be from 1992 that DH's cousin with asthma used. It has tiny little flat filters (think I have a bag of about 50) that I change every time I use it. We keep it at the outlaws as a spare and still works like a dream.

And we have a devilbiss pulmoaide that's about 2-3 years old.

We use the pari for travel and keep it in the family room so DS can vest and play xbox during treatments. The devilbiss is in our room, so I can beat DS in the mornings before school -- he sleeps thru it and gets an extra hour of sleep. Doesn't tend to sleep thru the vest.
