Pari Sinus nasal nebulizer

Has anyone used this product. I am thinking of purchasing one to nebulize pulmozyme through nose, and even Tobi when PA is cultured. I do not feel chronic sinusius is given enough attention to in CFers...but is just as impt to focus on. I'm beging to think that some cultures of PA are not from the lungs, but from post nasal drainage of PA in the sinuses. And if you only use the mouth piece nebulizer when u r doing TOBI, then it really is not getting up good into your frontal sinuses.

Do you have a link to what this is? I actually take a few "snorts" (lol) of Pulmozyme and/or Tobi if I am doing it at the time of a sinus infection, and it seems to help! I also try to remember to breath in through my mouth, and out my nose as often as I remember (sick or well), so that anything that doesn't "stick" in my lungs might do a bit of good for my sinuses <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> .

This subject is also raised on the GSH website, where it is recommended that people nebulise with a mask so that the sinus gets the GSH also. It makes sense to me, and I have wondered why the nebulisers only have mouth pieces rather than masks, my son doesnt like the mouth pieces anyhow.

yes, I've often thought the same thing...I just went to the Pari website <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://pari.com/">http://pari.com/</a> and looked at upper respiratory...there is also a machine, not yet avail in US market, Vibrant that is for sinuses.....I know that tobi through reg mouth neb will not effecively treat PA in sinuses..
Interesting also is that there is currently a Phase III study looking at pulmozyme through the nasal passages, which I have thought about starting to do.
