Peeing yourself.....

I know this has been talked about before, and I have even posted about it before, without leaving my name, but now I am so ticked I don't care.

I was all ready to go out this am, showered and dressed, and walaaaaaaaaaaaa.. I was sitting here reading posts, and for some reason, my body thinks I am sitting on a toilet and I peed. I couldn't even stop it. Just came out...I wasn't even coughing, or anything.... This has happened to me before, but only once in a while. now the past few weeks, it is all the time....Kegels don't work for me.. and I swear.. I am not buying Depends >> I REFUSE. so I may keep ending up with wet pants. uggggggggggggggg

WHAT THE HECK? My body is suckolla....

I am going to have to change my screen name to JennifersPissypants.

I had that while ont he Steroids (Prednisone)......doesnt matter how often you go or anything....whenthe urge is there forget it......I went thru TONS of pants in the hospital. The nurses kept me supplied with them. I tried using maxi pads, but that didnt work well. I also refused to use Depends. So I gave up on the underwear & just changed as often as possible. For me it let up as I went off the steroids. Sorry Jenn......you might not have a choice with the depends.....

I don't have CF but noticed more of a problem after having DS. Usually it seems to happen a few days before "aunt flo" comes to visit. It doesn't happen all the time, just once in awhile and it just started in the past couple of years. I used to have a BLADDER OF STEEL!

Could you have a bladder infection? A coworker had interstitial bladder problems.

Hmm...I know that I have a bit of a weak bladder - sometimes all of a sudden I'll have to go, and if I'm not near a bathroom, then watch out. More often then not though, my episodes are from coughing. I hate it.

Have you had your O2 levels checked recently?
That can happen if your O2 levels are low cause if low the body sort of "priortizes" how to use its energy and keeps our hearts going - sometimes at the expense of the bladder sphincter.

I think my O2 is okay, I will check next time I am at work. Right now I feel amazingly well for this time of year...

I was speaking to someone today who told me, that I went through this one other time in my life, and that was when my uterine fibroids were so big they were pushing on my bladder... I totally forgot about that....I had major surgery on them about 5 years ago... I know I have fibroids.. I don't have the time to take care of them now, they are not a priorty and nothing really happens to you if you don't take care of them...

But if this keeps up, I guess I can get it checked to see if that is what is happening..

I hate this.. Very bad for the self esteem, First I have a big huge moon face and bloated belly from steroids, now I pee myself.. What a wonderful attractive package I am...............

I have the same thing, sometime's i go without notice. I have started wearing adult diapers(not Depends, because they suck), but if you do have to wear them it's not as bad as it might seem. I know for me the fact that i'm not going to wet my pants in a store, or at the movies, or so on... overweighs the fact that i wear diapers. they still suck, but i think wetting my pants is worse. You seem to be one of the only people with the same kind of problem, so if you find anything out let me know.
