PEFR/ Volume??

Hi everyone,

I just wondered what PEFR/L/s means on a PFT test....

Also, what causes it to go -up or down-?

My Dr visits from the beginning of January 2011 was it- %101

3 month later,- %107

And this weeks visit it was -%116

I should mention esp. since in those 4-5months I have been more -to VERY dedicated to exercise.,....running, swimming weight training, sprinting....

Does it mean your lung volume is gotten bigger? and if so, why doesn't it budge the FEV1 much? Only a 2% increased from Jan,- 81%-83% ?
