Ellie was having some difficulty today with her BMs...she's "cleared" most of it, but the consistency wasn't such that I would think indicates blockage. I'm not concerned about a blockage at this point, but I am concerned about the consistency of BM that does cause a blockage. If she had a difficult time passing what I saw today (clay-like, formed, not hard), would I expect different with an actual blockage? From my experience with animals and obstipation, stool becomes extremely dry as it sits in the colon...what actually occurs with cystic fibrosis obstipation episodes?
