PFTs going down fast

A little update. I spoke to Shelby's pediatrician yesterday afternoon to get a referral for at least another opinion.
She felt as y'all do. We need a new doc and she's going to take over and find someone that's a better fit for us. This took a load off me so I can concentrate on Shelby and my other 4 children (no cf for them) Thanks for all your kind words. I really appreciate it.

I am sorry that you are going through this tug of war with Shelby's docs...sounds extremely frustrating to say the least. I would definitely consider seeing another clinic for sure, sounds like you guys are getting no where with this one. Oops, I just saw that her pedi is getting a referral, Great! I do hope the ID docs are revealing though..that is a huge drop in her FEV1. As far as the molds go, is she only culturing yeast or is there another culprit in there too? I know that molds are common in humid areas where they get into walls and can cause serious lung problems. If your home hasn't been tested for them, it might be a good time to do this...just a thought.
