PFT's

After reading some posts and getting a different perspective on people's clinic visits, I was just wondering how often you all do PFT's. I feel like I do them all the @*@@* time. I wouldn't mind doing them that often if I was 20 and in the 100% range; but, I am not there. I do them because I participate in a study and I tend to go to the doc every 2 months by my choosing. I probably do them at least 1x a month and they tend to vary. I guess I am dreaming about blowing some good numbers and having about a 4 month break from the whole clinic visit experience.

I had been doing a spirometer every visit for a few years with the body box once a year.

I havent had any pft for months now due to fatigue, hemoptysis, chest pain etc during my exacerbations..........

I also do them every time I see my CF doc. And the "body box" as Melissa called it once a year.

I see my CF Doc a lot. Normally, every 3 months but as of late every 4-6 weeks. At my last visit, I was lucky enough to hear I'll see you in 3 months! That is a good day.
