PICC and numbness

Mine has been like that half of today!!! I'm so glad you asked and that Mel knew what you were talking about. I've been flexing my hand and arm all evening. I'm hoping my PICC will be pulled in the next 2 days.

Flexing might not be enough tho. I had a terrible pinched nerve that required therapy. Best thing to do is put your hand flast against a wall & push up as far as you can without ripping anything, but enough to feel some "pulling"

Then take your elbow in the palm of your other hand and pull GENTLY up & to the side

i would actually get in touch with your doc asap. it could be a sign of a blood clot. been there, done that, and the earlier you catch it the better.

Yep, I agree with Kybert. Could be a blood clot. Might want to ask your doc. In the meantime, you could take a low-dose asprin to maybe help thin it out so it'll pass.. That's what my doc told me, and it made it better when it was out.
