PICC Question

Your arm will probably hurt around your shoulder after a picc is pulled, And under your armpit. there is a nasty curve up there most of the time. And they are pulling on it while the Cathiter is wownd every witch way, when you pull it is trying to come out strait but your vein is not strait. Did they have a hard time pulling it? Did they check the end of the cathiter to see if it broke off at the end?

Ya definitely get an ultrasound to see if there's a clot. It shouldn't be hurting for this long....

And those clots can be deadly if not treated properly, so get on the phone immediately to make that ultrasound appointment.
