I'm still learning this whole forum thing, so I'm just gonna reply to everyone lol.
Thank you, CaliSally and minimedic304, for your input on the port! I know that some day, possibly even the next time I am up for some IVs, I will be ready to get one. The thought of having another PICC put in...ugh. They've never scared me before, and I've had like eleventy billion, but CaliSally, you ain't kiddin' when you said that'll wake you up when they hit that nerve. I thought I was gonna pee myself, true story. Managed not to though. lol. My main concern is that I have 2 little kids, I worry about it getting pulled on or something, but that is a concern with the PICC, too. My girls know to be gentle around it, and I'm sure they'd learn fast with the port as well. Again, thanks for the input. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
