Potatoes are good complex carbs. Eat lots of baked potatoes, mashed potatoes with gravy, garlic bread (wheat if you can), cottage cheese, yogurt,

I also ate a soy meal replacement shake, brand is Spiru Tein (about 50 different YUMMY flavors) and also a protein scoop.

I had a very hard time gaining weight with my 3 and found that I ate MUCH better when I kept a log of what I ate. I did this for aout 4 months.

You need to be eating SOMETHING at least once an hour. You should be eating about 3000 calories a day with twins and about 170 grams of protein. I reached my carb goal pretty easy with potatoes, sandwiches, cottage cheese, cheese, but protein was hard. The protein shake I had was by optimum nutrition and I just added hot or cold water and drank it in 1-2 gulps. It's 24g of protein but not much to drink so it's a great way to get extra protein.

I'll try to find my log book and write some more of waht I ate.
