Please Help Me Find A CF Patient

My Name is Jean Paul Dombrowski. Im hoping to find a friend by the name of James "jimmy" Cobb. He was a very good friend growing up and we lost touch some 20 plus years ago. I found a "remember" posting stating that a James R. Cobb passed away from CF on March 4th, 2008 a person by the name of Marti left the only message on his page. I searched people by the name of Marti and came up with a Marti Limoli and a Marti Morgan that are involved with the CF Community. Please, If you know any of these people or know how to get in touch with them. Please have them e-mail me at jpdski@yahoo.com.
I am still hoping to find my friend alive and well. I know its been about 2 years since I posted on this issue but I have yet to give up. I know Jimmy would fight til the very end himself and even if he has passed then all I can do is honor him by not giving up until I find his place of rest or we meet again on the other side.

While your request may certainly be valid, it may be unlikely to be responded to. It can easily be misconstrued as some type of phishing expedition and should rightly be ignored. Personally, I would caution any of the CF.com users to warily consider this type of request before responding either publicly or via personal messages.

I do hope you can determine what happened to your friend.

I can guarantee this is not a phishing thing considering 1. I am not asking for any type of personal information. 2. I provided my personal e-mail address. 3. Though Im sure there are people out there who would stoop so low as to use CF to their benefit, I am not one of them. I watched Jimmy go in and out of hospitals between Atlanta and Florida. I used to pat his back while he did his nebulizer treatments. Not many CF free guys would do that for another guy who has CF. We were such good friends that we rode our bycicles 120 miles on a whim and stopping only to do a bit of fishing and for him to catch his breath.
I just miss my friend. I don't need any ones information or contact numbers, address, bank info or pets names. All I would like is if some one knew James Cobb that they contact me at jpdski@yahoo.com or even my work email. john.dombrowski@us.army.mil or even my phone number 785-784-2702 and ask for John. if he is still with us then please forward my info to him or if he's passed let me know where he is buried so I can pay my respects.
So please, any one who may have known him, marti limoly, or marti morgan let them know that all I ask is to know.

Another thing that may help jog some one memory... He did a research program in northern Florida back in the late 80s and spent some time doing a CF study at the Emory Childrens hospital in Atlanta, also in the late 80s maybe early 90s

i haven't heard anything, john. i am sorry that this search seems to be coming up empty. just keep posting on here when you can. eventually someone may see it that knows something. take care. don't let any sort of negitivity get you down. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
